Abstract

This study includes 20 patients recruited prospectively. Over a 3 year period consecutive patients presenting with benign papillary lesions with or without intraductal extension were subjected to endoscopic papillectomy after confirmation of resectability by EUS. Follow-up consisted of ERCP with routine and/or targeted biopsies every 6 months. The 20 patients included 16 males and 4 females. Median age was 62 years, (range 42-87 years). Accidental discovery on EGD and right hypochondrial pain were the most common modes of presentation.
