Since the introduction of, the revascularization of total coronary occlusion increases in number. Methods and results: So we studied the predictors of success in 170 pateients and the results were 48.8% and the predictors of successful PCI were normal cardiac contractility, presentation with recent MI, short duration ≤1 month, functional total occlusion, tapering morphology, mean length of the lesion less than 10.9±0.46mm, absence of side branch , the presence of retrograde flowand and the use of shinobi wire .Adverse outcome was 15.2%, Rate of restenosis during follow up duration up to 6 months was 36.6%. Conclusion: success rate : 48.8% ; Rate of restenosis : 36.6%
