Liver Transplantation has become an accepted therapy for end stage liver disease as well as certain hepatic malignancy. The clinical course after liver transplantation in highly variable and is influenced by the recipient’s preoperative status and the condition of the donor organ and the intra-operative course of the recipient. Post-operative complications after liver transplantation are divided into medical and surgical complications. The medical complications are further divided into hepatic and extra-hepatic complications.
