Congenital dislocation of the patella is very rare. In this anomaly, the patellais dislocated to the side of the lateral femoral condyl and cannot berepositioned manually. Diagnosis is often made by clinical examination andobservation of an abnormal gait, fixed flexion deformity, genu valgum andexternal tibial torsion. Diagnostic imaging include; x-ray, ultrasonography,CT and MRI. The dislocated patella can be visualized to the lateral side oflateral femoral condyle. The main treatment of CDP is surgically for betterwalking and good realignment of the extensor mechanism.
