Abstract

The study included the evaluation of the results of closure of 10 thyroidectomy incisions using two different techniques : The right half of the incision is closed with 4-0 monofilament subcuticular sutures, and the other half is closed with octylcyanoacrylate tissue adhesive. The patients’ ages vary from 20 to 47 years; 9 females & one male patient were included .Results were evaluated regarding closure time, postoperative infection , dehiscence and quality of the scar.
