Purpose: This article describes a technique and reports on the early healing for localized sinus augmentation using a crestal approach in combination with plateletrich fibrin (PRF) concentrate.Patients and subject: The presented study was done on 10 patients (8 female and 2male). They looked for fixed restoration of their lost maxillary posterior teeth.Their ages were ranged from 30- 50 years. The estimated residual bone height(RSBH), as measured on a preoperative digital radiograph, was 4 to 8 mm. usingosteotome-mediated sinus floor elevation (OMSFE) with PRF.Results: CBCT finding the mean RSBH of the alveolar crest was 6.6 mm (range,4–8 mm). The mean increase in the height of implant sites by OMSFE was 3.4 mm(range, 2.5–5mm) .The mean healing time for the loaded implants was 4 monthsuntil abutment insertion and after this period final prosthesis was done. Conclusion :The OMSFE/PRF technique presented for localized sinus floor elevation and implant placement demonstrates a highdegree of safety and success at sites with 5- to 8-mm residual subantral bone height.
