The purpose of this study was to use titanium granules with immediate dental implant as an osteoconductive material in order to compensate any vertical bone defect and voids between implant and bone walls and to evaluate its effect on osseointegration of immediate dental implant. Methodology: The study involved six female patients seeking replacement of single upper premolar root. These teeth had with vertical bone loss about >3mm and <7mm in one or two walls. Each patient received immediate dental implant and the bony defects around it were grafted by porous titanium granules (Tigran) graft material. Clinical examination was done throughout the time of study. Radiographic examination was made to assess peri-implant bone changes immediately, 1month, 3months, and 6 months postoperatively for all patients. Results: . there was statistical significant increase in mean bone density after 3 months and 6 months when it was compared to base line measurements Conclosion: Porous titanium granules graft material is an effective osteoconductive material and offers a feasible way for the regeneration of vertical bone defect in one or\and two peri-implant bony walls around immediate dental implant.
