Abstract

Aim of this study was to compare the efficacy of 4 different pulpotomy techniques in primary molars, formocresol, electrosurgery, ferric sulphate and MTA.80 patient with as range 5-8y were selected for pediatric dentistry department Cairo university. Result formocresol group showed 90.5% clinical success and 61.9% radiographic success, mineral trioxide aggregate showed 90% clinical success and 65% radiographic success, electrosurgery showed 75% clinical success and 65% radiographic success, ferric sulphate showed 85% clinical success and 65% radiographically. It was concluded that there is no significant difference between the 4 groups in clinical and radiographic success
