Abstract

This study evaluated the effect of preconditioning the dentinal wall with,(EDTA+CHX), (MTAD +CHX)OR (EDTA) , as a final flush on the bond strength , sealability and adaptation of two different resin based sealers. Epoxy resin sealer (AH Plus) and methacrylate resin sealer (Real Seal SE). One hundred and two freshly extracted single rooted human teeth were used in this study. The crowns of the teeth were removed at the cementoenamel junction. All teeth were instrumented using Protaper rotary files in the sequence (S1, S2, F1, F2, F3, F4) with apical portion enlarged to size#F4 with a tip of 0.40. Apical patency was verified by passing a # 10 k file through the apex. Irrigation between each file was carried out with 3 milliliters NaOCL (5.25%). Each sample was irrigated with 5ml Saline solution as a final rinse. The one hundred and two samples used in this study were divided into two groups, fifty one each according to the type of sealer used.
