This study was planned to evaluate knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) of intern dentists in Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University This cross-sectional study was carried out on 377 intern dentists in Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University Data were collected through a questionnaire. The questionnaire was divided into four parts, these parts consisted from multiple open and closed ended question In the present study, age, gender, university of graduation, year of graduation, training for dental emergency, their knowledge on dental emergency management, their need for future education in management of emergency traumatic cases, their ability to provide proper action when needed didn’t have an impact on adequacy of Knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) of intern dentists. The present study showed the knowledge of intern dentists revealed different levels. Therefore, their knowledge could be improved regardless of graduation time.
