Obesity is considered one of the most important chronic diseases in children which lead to atherosclerosis. We studied parameters of atherosclerosis in children with obesity, we measured cIMT and FUD % and we found that cIMT increased in obese children when compared to controls and was directly correlated with LDL and BMI. We found that there was no statistically significant difference between cases and controls in respect to FMD %.
