We conducted our study in Oncology Department in Kasr El-Aini Hospital on 21 patients who presented to our department during period from August 2004 to April 2009. Patients included in the study were CLL and low grade lymphoma cases who are going to receive fludarabine and mitoxantrone (FN) chemotherapy combination for 6 cycles. Correlation between the 2 diseases, the FN regimen and survivin (a member of inhibitors of apoptosis protein, IAP) were evaluated in relation to overall response and disease free survival.
