تقدم هذه الدراسة وصفا شاملا لما يعرف بميزانية البنود – المتبعة في الجمهورية العربية المتحدة – ومميزاتها وعيوبها، ثم تنتقل الدراسة إلى تعريف ميزانية الاداء وكيفية استخدامها في قياس كفاءة اداء المصالح الحكومية في تقديم خدماتها العامة المختلفة. This study provides a comprehensive description of what is known as'' Line-Item Budget'' in the United Arab Republic and its advantages and disadvantages. Then, the study proceeds to define the '' Performance Budget'' and how it is used to measure the efficiency of the performance of governmental agencies in providing of their various public services.
