The proposed system is designed to track all goods in stock, goods on order, and their location within the store. When a new item is received, it is assigned a unique part number and added to the master database. The system provides comprehensive reports on available goods, items that need reordering, and goods on order, while automatically generating purchase orders. The system enables tracking of individual sales transactions, including sold items, buyers, salespersons, sale dates, and invoice numbers, as well as tracking incoming goods. Transaction records automatically update stock status in the master database. The system relies on key data files, including the master database, sales transaction files, and new stock files. It offers ease of use, flexibility, and allows the store manager to update the master database and correct errors seamlessly.
