تتناول هذه الدراسة سبل و آليات النهوض بالصناعات الصغيرة في مصر نظرا لما تلعبه هذه الصناعات من دور هام في توسيع وتنويع الإنتاج وتساهم في تحقيق الأهداف الأساسية للتنمية الاقتصادية . إشتملت الدراسة على أربعة فصول الفصل الاول تناول التعريف بالصناعات الصغيرة و خصائصها وأنواعها ومشكالتها ، و الفصل الثاني تناول دور الصناعات الصغير ة في الاقتصاد القومي المصري ، و الفصل الثالث عرض تجارب بعض الدول في النهوض بالمشروعات الصناعية الصغيرة وكيفية الاستفادة منها ، و الفصل الرابع إستعرض سبل و آليات النهوض بالصناعات الصغيرة في مصر أهمها : إنشاء كيان موحد(إطار مؤسسي) لتنميتها ، و وضع استراتيجية للنهوض بقطاع الصناعات الصغيرة ، و وضع تشريع حديث للنهوض بتلك الصناعات ، و تدريب ورفع مهارات وكفاءة العاملين في مجال الصناعات الصغيرة ، تهيئة الفرص التسويقية أمام الصناعات الصغيرة ، و ضرورة وجود خريطة استثمارية للمشروعات الصناعية الصغيرة .

This study deals with the ways and the meaning of promoting small industries in Egypt , as these industries play an important role in the expansion and diversity of production and contribute to the achievement of the basic objectives of economic development. The study includesfour chapters:The first chapter deals with the definition of small industries and their characteristics, types and problems . The second chapter deals with the role of small industries in the Egyptian national economy, The third Chapter presents the experiences of some countries in promoting small industrial enterprises and how to benefit from them . The forth Chapter present , Ways and mechanisms to promote the small industries in Egypt ; the most important of them is the establishment of a unified entity (institutional framework) for its development , setting a the development , setting a strategy to promote the small industries sector and putting in a place legislation to promote these industries, training and upgrading skills and efficiency of workers in small industries, adjustment of marketing chances in front of small industries and necessity a having an investment map for small industrial enterprises .
