Abstract

This research focuses on the study of Greek fashion by identifying the types of Greek fashion, its models and materials, where the skill of the Greeks appeared in the way of wearing their simple costumes were placed on the body to make many folds in the body Weaving, so it appeared with wonderful artistic lines, achieving the utilitarian purpose along with the purpose aesthetic together, in this chapter try to reveal a lot of customs and traditions. The Greek peoples, being mainly related to the personality of the individual, have an important place within Ancient societies of different geographical location, and their role in the formation of human personality, knowledge of the development of social life of the Greek peoples and the contribution of fashion in distinguishing between members of one society and between one civilization and another, where she impressively demonstrated the interest of her people in the appearance of fashion, and this gives us information ,about the formal, informal, religious and military costumes of Greek civilization. He distinguishes between the lower classes and the higher classes within Greek society, according to status and according to the job , so that we can learn more about the Greek civilization, and her interests in life, aspects of which remain ambiguous, require her to be given attention so that we can clarify it and benefit from it, as fashion is a manifestation of nationalism, which is one of the elements that depict the entity and character of the state in a way General, and how to use modern technology to maintain this effect, and it was the styles for men and women are very similar, women's clothing hits the floor Men's clothing is likely to be short for everyday use.
