The issue of legal protection for digital privacy has become increasingly significant in the current digital era. With the widespread use of technology and the internet, individuals are continuously sharing personal information and data online. However, this raises serious concerns about the privacy and security of this information and data. Consequently, there is an increasing need for comprehensive legislation to protect individuals' digital privacy rights. With the emergence of social media platforms, online transactions, and internet-based activities, millions of individuals constantly share personal information and leave digital footprints. These technologies and conveniences come with a significant cost - the risk of privacy violations and unauthorized access to data. To address these concerns, governments and organizations have implemented various laws and regulations to protect individuals' digital privacy, aiming to establish a form of legislative and regulatory protection for data. This research aims to explore the importance of legal protection for digital privacy, analyze existing legislation for personal data protection, and study the challenges and opportunities related to this topic in the current digital age. Through this research, we seek to provide effective recommendations to enhance the legal protection of digital privacy and achieve a balance between optimal technology use and safeguarding individuals' rights.
