يهدف هذا البحث إلى تسليط الضوء على واحد من المخرجات الأدبية ذاتية النشأة وهي ما يسمى بسرود الابتعاث، والتي تعني ما كتبه المبتعثون أثناء ابتعاثهم وهي نصوص ذاتية كتبها المبتعث أثناء فترة دراسته في الخارج، تحكي تجربته، وآرائه، وانطباعاته، وأبرز الأحداث والصعوبات التي مر بها خلال فترة زمنية مؤقتة"، وتتجلى فيها المرجعية الفكرية والثقافية للمجتمع السعودي.   هذا وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج، جاء من أهمها: أن سرود الابتعاث نصوص ذاتية، متفردة التجربة، تشكل هوية ذاتية مستقلة؛ يكتب المبتعث بنفسه عما حدث معه خلال فترة ابتعاثه، تظهر فيها مشاعره، وانطباعاته، وتأملاته، ومعتقداته، فهي بمنزلة بصمة لشخصية المبتعث، تميز تجربته عن تجربة مبتعث آخر، ويتفق أدب الرحلة وأدب المهجر مع سرود أدب الابتعاث في الذاتية والواقعية، وهيمنة المكان، وأما الاختلاف بينهم، فيكمن في سبب الكتابة، ومناسبة الحدث. This research aims to shed light on one of the self-emerging literary outputs, which is the so-called scholarship narratives, which means what the scholarship students wrote during their scholarships, which are self-texts written by the scholarship student during the period of his study abroad, telling his experience, opinions, impressions, and the most prominent events and difficulties he went through during a temporary period of time, and reflects the intellectual and cultural reference of Saudi society.   The study has reached many results, the most important of which are: that the narratives of scholarship are subjective texts, unique in experience, forming an independent self-identity; the scholarship writes himself about what happened with him during the period of his scholarship, in which his feelings, impressions, reflections, and beliefs appear, it is like an imprint of the personality of the scholarship student, distinguishing his experience from the experience of another scholarship student, and the literature of the trip and the literature of the diaspora agrees with the narratives of scholarship literature in subjectivity, realism, and the dominance of the place, and the difference between them lies in the reason for writing, and the appropriateness of the event.
