يبرز الشعر الموجَّه للأطفال كأداة تربوية فعالة تُسهم في تشكيل وجدان الطفل، وتنمية تذوقه الفني، وبناء منظومته القيمية والمعرفية، إذ يرتبط الطفل بالشعر منذ الطفولة المبكرة عبر الأناشيد والأغاني التي تُرددها الأم، ويتطور هذا الارتباط ليصبح وسيلة لغرس القيم وتعزيز المهارات اللغوية والخيالية. وقد ساهم أدباء عرب بارزون مثل أحمد شوقي، والهراوي، ومحمد عثمان جلال، وكامل الكيلاني، في تأسيس هذا الفن من خلال قصائد رمزية اعتمدت على الحكايات الحيوانية لتوصيل الرسائل الأخلاقية والتربوية في قالب إيقاعي ممتع. يُعد الشعر الموجَّه للأطفال وسيلة مثلى لتحقيق أهداف تعليمية وتربوية، منها: تنمية الخيال والذوق، إثراء المفردات، تعزيز القيم الأخلاقية، وتطوير مهارات التعبير والاستماع. ولتحقيق هذه الأهداف، ينبغي أن تتسم صياغة الشعر بالبساطة والوضوح، واستخدام اللغة الفصحى السهلة، ومراعاة خصائص النمو العقلي والوجداني للطفل، مع التركيز على الإيقاع والجرس الموسيقي والموضوعات المرتبطة بالبيئة والواقع المعاصر للطفل. ويخلص البحث إلى أهمية تبني فلسفة تربوية شاملة تُدرج الشعر ضمن أدوات بناء الطفل فكريًا ووجدانيًا وسلوكيًا في ضوء ثقافة المجتمع العربي.       Poetry directed at children stands out as an effective educational tool that contributes to shaping the child's emotional world, enhancing aesthetic appreciation, and building their system of values and knowledge. From early childhood, the child develops a bond with poetry through nursery rhymes and songs sung by the mother, and this connection gradually evolves into a powerful medium for instilling values and enriching linguistic and imaginative skills. Prominent Arab literary figures such as Ahmed Shawqi, Al-Harawi, Mohammad Othman Jalal, and Kamel Al-Kilani played a foundational role in establishing this literary genre through symbolic poems that often relied on animal tales to deliver moral and educational messages in a rhythmic and engaging format. Children's poetry is considered an ideal means for achieving educational and developmental goals such as nurturing imagination and taste, enriching vocabulary, promoting moral values, and developing expression and listening skills. To fulfill these aims, children's poetry should be crafted with simplicity and clarity, employing accessible classical Arabic and taking into account the child's cognitive and emotional development. It should also emphasize rhythm, musicality, and themes relevant to the child's contemporary reality and environment. The study concludes by affirming the need for a comprehensive educational philosophy that integrates poetry as a core tool in fostering the intellectual, emotional, and behavioral development of the child in alignment with Arab cultural values.
