Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between quality of life, sensory stimuli, and linguistic proficiency in children from various environments. Studying children's linguistic behavior before they enter school is essential, as the stages of biological and functional development vary through language, which is a means of human communication. The study employed a descriptive and analytical approach, selecting a random sample of kindergarten children. Data was collected through a questionnaire, which was then analyzed to extract results. The study aimed to reveal the extent to which language proficiency is affected by the quality of life surrounding the child, considering factors such as the cultural, educational, economic, and social levels of the child's family. This, in turn, influences the child's sensory aspects, reflecting on their language proficiency. The study concluded with recommendations to increase attention to developing linguistic proficiency in children and to encourage parents to care for their children and provide a suitable environment for this development.
