Abstract

The current endeavor was to enhance the premix-free combustion behavior of the twin-jet intake. ANSYS was used to study the fuel and air inlet shape effects at different velocities. There were three theories proposed: turbulent flow, species transfer, and finite rate/eddy dissipation. More funding is required for research and experimental testing to result in more efficient combustion designs. To precisely calculate flame stability and pollutant emissions, a comprehensive turbulent combustion model based on chemical kinetics is needed. Consequently, stronger, more dependable, and more efficient numerical models need to be developed. Twin jets in high-speed propulsion systems can be blended in a variety of ways to decrease noise, control thrust vectoring, and other objectives. Twin jet enhances. The circular-star and circular-square intake jet designs were the main subjects of the investigation. The results show that modifications in the geometry and speed of the inlet affect equivalent ratios, temperature, heat release rate, and combustion efficiency.
