The Republic of Sudan is one of the largest African countries. It has been blessed by God with an abundance of natural resources, fertile lands, fresh rivers, and a plentiful labor force, among many other blessings. Despite all these advantages, Sudan has suffered from poverty and unemployment since it gained independence. The country has also been torn apart by sectarian wars among its people. All of these factors have contributed to the political failure that Sudan has experienced.
Since its independence, Sudan has been plagued by political instability. The country has never witnessed sustained political stability, and the resulting political and economic failures have led to a deterioration in the living conditions of the Sudanese people.
