Translation technology is a rapidly evolving field that involves the use of computer software and other tools to support the translation process. Machine translation and computer-aided Technology tools are two common approaches to language translation. With machine translation, the translation is mainly automated. With computer- aided technology, the translation is created by a human translator with some aspects of the process aided by software. Computer-assisted translation software, commonly known as CAT tools, provide a range of features to help translators convert the meaning of text from one language into another consistently and with speed. Modern CAT tools take a hybrid approach that enables translators and translation project managers to work seamlessly online or offline, using desktop tools or browsers. Common approaches to language (CAT) tools include: translation memory tools, spell checkers, grammar checkers, terminology managers, electronic dictionaries, full-text search tools, (or indexers), concordances, bi text aligners, and project management software. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the landscape, offering powerful tools that enhance then speed and accessibility of translations. AI is a tool that can help us achieve our goals, but we need to ensure that we use it responsibly and ethically. This research paper attempts to answer the following questions: 1.What is the concept of translation technology? 2. What is the difference between machine translation and computer-aided technology? 3. What are the pros and cons of translation technology? 4. Can Artificial Intelligence (AI) and CAT tools surpass Human Intelligence?
