In recent years, technology and translation have been closely integrated, leading to fundamental changes in the translation process and quality and efficiency. This combination has had a profound impact on the translation industry, especially after artificial intelligence (AI) was integrated into translation, becoming one of the most revolutionary advances in the field of modern translation. Thanks to continuous technological innovation, the field has made rapid progress, making the conversion of texts between languages more efficient and accurate than ever before.
This study aims to explore the role of artificial intelligence technology in translation teaching and translator training, analyze the opportunities and challenges it brings, evaluate the impact of artificial intelligence on translation teaching and translator training, identify current challenges, and propose optimization strategies to improve translation efficiency and quality and help translators better adapt to the needs of the artificial intelligence era.
At the same time, the study also discusses the risks of using technology for translation, including privacy issues, challenges in cultural sensitivity and accuracy of translation context, and the impact that translators' over-reliance on digital tools may have on their core skills. This study proposes some strategies to achieve a balance between the effective use of technology and maintaining the quality of human translation, and emphasizes the importance of human-machine collaborative translation.
