Abstract

The current research aimed to reveal the psychological Visually Impaired adolescents have) high- low(Negative Academic Emotions in Lights of Mastery Motivation. As well as revealing the differences in the psychological profile of visually impaired adolescents with high Negative Academic Emotions in Lights of Mastery Motivation according to the variables (degree of visual loss - type), and the research hypotheses were verified using the following tools: the Academic Negative Emotions Scale (prepared by/ researcher) and the Mastery Motivation Scale prepared by/ Doherty-Bigara & Gilmore (2015) translated by Ahmed, M (2023), The application was carried out on the basic research sample of (176) visually impaired male and female adolescent students at Al Noor and Al Amal School in Damanhur and the schools of the Damanhur Educational Center Administration affiliated to the Directorate of Education in Beheira. The scores of the basic sample members were divided on the scale of negative academic emotions into students with high negative academic emotions, numbering (73) male and female students, and students with low negative academic emotions, numbering (103) male and female students, with an average age of (16.45) years and a standard deviation of (1.24). The results of the research showed that there is a difference in the level and form of the psychological profile dispersion of visually impaired adolescents (high-low) academic emotions in light of mastery motivation, and there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of visually impaired adolescents with high academic emotions in light of mastery motivation according to the variable of the level of visual loss in the direction of the visually impaired, and there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of visually impaired adolescents with high academic emotions in light of mastery motivation according to the gender variable.
