استهدف البحث التعرف على مجتمع الجوزجان خلال الفترة الممتدة منذ قيام الدولة الطاهرية وحتى بداية الغزو المغولي وذلك من خلال الحديث عن  عناصر السكان وطبقات المجتمع التي كان يتألف منها المجتمع الجوزجاني، وكذلك مظاهر الحياة الاجتماعية المختلفة مثل المناسبات والأعياد التي حرص الأهالي على الاحتفال بها ووسائل التسلية التي شاعت بينهم بالإضافة إلى مكانة المرأة ودورها في المجتمع.وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الاستقرائي في قراءة المصادر المختلفة واستنباط الحقائق منها والمنهج الوصفي لوصف  المجتمع وفئاته ومظاهر الحياة الاجتماعية بالجوزجان.
Title: Al-Jawzgan Society from the Establishment of the Tahirid State until the Beginning of the Mongol Invasion (205-617 AH/ 820-1220 AD)
Abstract: The study was aimed to get to know Al-Jawzgan society during the period extending from the establishment of the Tahirid state until the beginning of the Mongol invasion (205-617 AH/820-1220 AD), by talking about the elements of the population and classes of society that make up society in Al-Jawzgan, as well as the various aspects of social life such as occasions and holidays that people were keen to celebrate and means of entertainment that became common among them, in addition to the status of women and their role in society. I have relied on a heuristic approach to read various sources and drawing facts from them and a descriptive approach to describe society, its categories and aspects of social life in Al-Jawzgan.
