Abstract

Our understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) traces back to the 2019 definition provided by the AI ​​High-Level Expert Group (HLEG), which characterizes AI as human-designed systems, whether hardware or software, deployed in digital or physical environments. These systems possess the capacity to process and assess data, make logical decisions, generate outcomes, and recommend relevant actions aimed at achieving predefined objectives, thereby impacting society. HLEG (2019) emphasizes that AI guided by symbolic rules or numerical models, capable of learning from its environment and past outputs, plays a pivotal role in this process.algorithms, and data accessibility, Al has transitioned from a theoretical concept to a practical reality since its inception in the 1950s.
