من البدهي أن الهدف من الترجمة هو الترجمة الدقيقة، لذا هدفت الدراسة إلى تقييم مدى فعالية الجمع بين الترجمة الآلية والترجمة البشرية في نقل التعابير الاصطلاحية بين الفارسية والعربية، مع الاعتماد على النظرية التفسيرية التي تركز على فهم المعنى وتأويله كجزء رئيس في عملية الترجمة، وذلك من خلال الدراسة التطبيقية لنماذج مختارة من التعابير ذات البعد الدلالي وترجمتها بطريقة آلية تارة وترجمة بشرية تارة أخرى ومن ثم إحداث عملية التكامل بين الترجمتين للوصول إلى أعلى درجة من الفعالية بينهما، حيث يعد التحدي الأكبر في الترجمة الآلية هو نقل المعاني المجازية والتعبيرات الاصطلاحية التي قد تختلف بشكل كبير بين الثقافات واللغات. وتُظهر الدراسة في بدايتها أن لكل نوع من الترجمتين تحديات وأن الجمع بين الترجمتين يعزز دقة النتائج ومعالجة القصور الناشئ عنهما وبخاصة الترجمة الآلية، والوصول إلى الترجمة الدقيقة للتعابير الاصطلاحية بأنواعها المختلفة. وحوت الدراسة مقدمة وقسمين، القسم الأول: الإطار النظري للدراسة وتناول الترجمة الآلية، والترجمة البشرية، والنظرية التفسيرية، القسم الثاني: الدراسة التطبيقية، وتناول التعابير الاصطلاحية وفعالية ترجمتها بين الآلية والبشرية، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن الترجمتين الآلية والبشرية تصيب وتخطئ في ترجمة العبارات الاصطلاحية، لكن التكامل بينها يجعلهما يسيران جنبًا إلى جنب، وليست كل منهما في اتجاه معاكس، حتى تنتج ترجمة فاعلة ذات درجة عالية من الدقة.
         Undoubtedly accurate translation is the ultimate goal of translation,. Accordingly, this study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of combining machine translation and human translation in rendering idiomatic expressions between Persian and Arabic, while relying on the interpretive theory that focuses on understanding and interpreting meaning as an essential part of the translation process. In this regard, this study is based on applying selected models of expressions with a semantic dimension and translating them automatically at times and human translation at other times. Then, the study sought to create an integration process between the two translations to reach the ultimate degree of effectiveness between them, as the greatest challenge in machine translation is rendering metaphorical meanings and idiomatic expressions that may differ greatly between cultures and languages. The study points out at its beginning that each type of translation has challenges, and that combining the two translations enhances the accuracy of the results, addresses the shortcomings arising from them, especially machine translation, and achieves accurate translation of idiomatic expressions of various types.The study consists of an introduction and two sections. The first section consists of:  The theoretical framework of the study, dealing with machine translation, human translation, and interpretive theory. As for the other section, which is concerned with the applied study, it tackles idiomatic expressions and the effectiveness of their translation between machines and humans. At the end of the study, it concluded that both machine and human translations may either be accurate or inaccurate in translating Idiomatic expressions, but the integration between them makes them go side by side, and not in the opposite direction in order to produce an effective translation with a high degree of accuracy.
