Abstract

The Ministry of Education launched Egypt's reform vision for the development of education, and the process of curriculum development was the main pillar of this vision, as the signal to start implementing it started from the kindergarten stage and continues successively until the end of secondary school.
This vision aimed to make major transformations in the teaching and learning processes, where the transition from acquiring knowledge to producing it, and from learning skills to employing them in learning situations and generalizing them in the life of the learner outside the classrooms, and our curricula included the building values of our society, which are a fence that protects our homeland, and Egypt's reform vision for curriculum development aimed at taking into account the specifications of the graduate of pre-university education, and the challenges Egypt faces locally, regionally and globally, as the developed curricula aimed at building a citizen capable of cultural communication and respect. Diversity and building a positive dialogue with the other, as well as acquiring digital citizenship skills.
The question that arises: How does teaching Arabic contribute to the development of linguistic sense, reading awareness, literary criticism and linguistic creativity?
