الملخص:
حرصت المؤسسات العسكرية الغربية وعلى رأسها وزارة الدفاع البريطانية، والقيادة العسكرية للحلفاء في حلف الناتو، على الاستفادة من النتائج العسكرية للحروب الحديثة، من خلال دراسة وتقييم دروس الحروب العسكرية، وتقييم المعدات العسكرية المستخدمة، والعمليات التكتيكية للحروب الحديثة، لاستنتاج المتغيرات العسكرية الدولية، ومن ثم تطوير المنظومة العسكرية الغربية، وتعزيز الأمن الدفاعي لدول حلف الناتو، وتشكلت اللجان الاستخباراتية في حلف الناتو؛ لتقييم الدروس المستفادة من الحرب، وتكفل البريطانيون بالتواجد الفعلي على أرض العمليات العسكرية، في كل من مصر، وسوريا، وإسرائيل، والاستفادة من التقارير الأمريكية الفنية، حول تقنيات الأسلحة، والعمليات التكتيكية، وتقديم ملخصات لنتائج تقارير التقييمات لحلف الناتو، في المقر الأعلى للقوى المتحالفة في أوروبا Supreme Hendquarters Allided Powers Europe (SHAPEX74)، لاتخاذ القرارات المناسبة حول الأمن الدفاعي المستقبلي، في ظل تفوق العسكرية السوفيتية على أثر الشواهد العلمية لحرب الشرق الأوسط 1973م.
Abstract:
Western military institutions, led by the British Ministry of Defence, and the military command of the Allies in NATO, were keen to benefit from the military results of modern wars, by studying and evaluating the lessons of military wars, evaluating the military equipment used, and the tactical operations of modern wars, to deduce international military variables, and then Developing the Western military system and enhancing the defense security of  NATO countries, and intelligence committees were formed in NATO. To evaluate the lessons learned from the war, the British ensured an actual presence on the ground of military operations, in Egypt, Syria, and Israel, and benefited from American technical reports on weapons technologies and tactical operations. And provide summaries of the results of the assessment reports to NATO, at the Supreme Headquarters of the Allied Powers in Europe To make appropriate decisions about future defense security, in light of the superiority of the Soviet military based on the scientific evidence of the 1973 Middle East War.
