يهدف الإسلام إلى إيجاد حضارة مبنية على أسس متينة، تشترك فيها عدالة السماء، وإنسانية الفرد المؤهل لإيجاد هذه الحضارة، ولما كانت الحضارة تعني: الحصيلة الشاملة للمدنية والثقافة، فهي الحياة في صورها وأنماطها المادية والمعنوية، والشخصية تعني: تنظيم متكامل للخصائص الجسمية والعقلية والمعرفية والانفعالية والاجتماعية، يظهر في تفاعل المرء مع الآخرين، وفي الحياة الاجتماعية، ولما كان العقاد في عبقرياته لا يعطينا سيرة الرجل العظيم، وإنما صورته الإنسانية بكل ملامحها وسماتها، حيث يصدّر عبقرياته دائمًا بقوله: إنها ليست تاريخًا لمن يطلبون التراجم والتاريخ، ولقد تناول العقاد في عبقرياته شخصيات تقترب من دوائر القداسة، وبخاصة لدى كثير من الناس؛ لأدوارهم الكبرى التي قاموا بها، سواء نُص على كلمة عبقرية كعبقرية محمد وعبقرية عمر ...، وغيرها من الكتب التي لم تحمل في عنوانها كلمة «عبقرية»، مثل: كتبه عن عثمان وعائشة؛ وقد استوقفني حديث للعقاد عن ذي النورين الذي يقول فيه: "ربما كانت سيرة الخليفة الثالث-ذي النورين- أوفى السير بالشواهد على الخصائص التي تلازم تاريخ العقيدة في أطوارها الأولى، ولاسيما أطوار التحول في تاريخ الاستقرار، وأبرز هذه الخصائص في تاريخ العقيدة أنه تاريخ قيم ومبادئ، وليس تاريخ وقائع وأحداث"؛ لذا أردت أن أكتب عن "صورة الشخصية الحضارية في عبقريات العقاد، دراسة بلاغية تحليلية، ذو النورين أنموذجًا"  لتقديمها إلى المؤتمر العلمي الثاني بكلية البنات الإسلامية بأسيوط، والمعنون بـــ(الحضارة الإنسانية في التراث العربي والإسلامي "أصالة الأثر ...عالمية التأثير"). Islam aims to establish a civilization built on solid foundations, encompassing divine justice and the humanity of the individual capable of creating this civilization. Civilization, in this sense, refers to the comprehensive outcome of material and cultural life, representing life in both its tangible and intangible forms. The concept of personality refers to the integrated organization of physical, mental, cognitive, emotional, and social characteristics that manifest in an individual's interactions with others and in social life. In his "Genius" series, al-Aqqad does not merely present the biographies of great men; rather, he portrays their full human character with all its features and traits. Al-Aqqad often begins his works by stating that these are not just historical accounts for those seeking biographies and history. In his "Genius" series, al-Aqqad discusses figures who approach sacred status, especially in the eyes of many due to their significant roles, whether he explicitly calls them "geniuses," as in The Genius of Muhammad and The Genius of Omar, or in books that do not carry the title "Genius," such as those about Uthman and Aisha. One passage from al-Aqqad about Dhu al-Nurayn caught my attention, where he states, "Perhaps the biography of the third caliph, Dhu al-Nurayn, is the most complete in terms of exemplifying the characteristics that accompany the history of faith in its early stages, particularly in its periods of transformation in the history of stability. The most prominent characteristic in the history of faith is that it is a history of values and principles, not a history of events and occurrences." Therefore, I wanted to write about "The Image of the Civilized Personality in al-Aqqad's Genius Works: A Rhetorical Analytical Study, with the Example of Dhu al-Nurayn" to present it at the second scientific conference of the Faculty of Islamic Girls at Asyut University, titled "Human Civilization in Arabic and Islamic Heritage: Authenticity of Impact... Universality of Influence."
