ملخص البحث هدفت الدراسة إلى إبراز مدى جواز تصحيح سبب القرار الإداري عند نظر القاضي الإداري في أسباب القرار، فيحل محل السبب المعيب سبباً صحيحاً، وبيان الآراء في ذلك، وما هو المعمول به والمطبّق في محاكم ديوان المظالم من خلال الأحكام الصادرة منه. ويعتبر القضاء الإداري مراقباً لهذه القرارات التي تصدر من جهة الإدارة متى ما عرضت له في دعوى الإلغاء، وينظر في مدى مشروعيتها، واشتمالها على أركانها، وخلوها مما يشوبها من عيوب، ومتى ما كان القرار مشوباً بعيب من العيوب فإن القاضي الإداري يحكم بإلغاء القرار الصادر من الجهة، ويجب على جهة الإدارة تنفيذ هذا الحكم، والالتزام به. وتوصل الباحث إلي عدة نتائج منها أن القرار الإداري له أنواع كثيرة باعتبارات مختلفة، وذلك بحسب المنظور الذي ينظر فيه للقرار. وأن السبب حتى يكون صحيحاً، ولا يقدح فيه فلا بد من توافر فيه شرطين: كونه قائماً عند إصدار القرار، وأن يكون حقيقياً وصحيحاً. with a valid reason, and to indicate the opinions on that, and what is applicable and applied in the courts of the Board of Grievances through the rulings issued by it.
