The current research deals with the words that express Divorce and what is related to it in the Holy Qur'an, and the social causes of Divorce, with the aim of clarifying the Quranic terms of Divorce and studying them in a Semantic study to reach the Semantic differences between them and the Semantic relations between them and the Semantic change that occurred to them, and the presentation of the social causes of Divorce. The descriptive approach in the research, because Divorce is one of the important religious and social phenomena that affect the life of the family and society, because of the problems that it entails of serious dimensions. The most important results of the search are the following: divorce is legitimate if life between the spouses becomes impossible, there are six words in the Noble Qur'an denoting Divorce and what is related to it, there are Semantic differences between the Qur'anic words denoting Divorce and what is related to it, there was a Synonymous relationship between some of the Qur'anic words indicative of Divorce, semantic change occurred through the Semantic transition of some Qur'anic words indicating Divorce, qur'anic Structure related to Divorce is presented in the form of an analogy, which is the saying of God Almighty: ((You leave her like a suspended woman)), there are many social causes for Divorce in the Arab community.
