يعدّ الخط العربي واحدًا من أنواع الفنون العربية التي تتمتع بخصوصية فنية وثقافية فريدة، ويهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة واقع توظيف الخط العربي في التصميم الجرافيكي من قبل المصمم الأردني بناء على الجمالية التي تحملها إيحاءاته والإبعاد الإبداعية لاستخدامه ضمن التصميم الجرافيكي، وانطلاقًا من فرضية أنّ تجربة المصمم الجرافيكي في توظيف الخط العربي ضمن الأدوات الرقمية الحديثة تواجه مجموعة من التحديات، تأتي أهداف البحث في التعرف على أسباب ومعوقات استخدامه من قبل المصمم الأردني، ويتكون مجتمع الدراسة من المصممين الجرافيكيين الأردنيين، بالتطبيق على عينة متاحة قوامها (200) مفردة من المصممين الاردنين بإختلاف درجاتهم العلمية ، وتتمثل أداة الدراسة بالاستبانة التي تعد من أكثر أدوات جمع البيانات استخداماً في منهج المسح، باستخدام معامل الثبات ألفا كرونباخ للتحقق من ثبات فقرات الاستبيان، وتوصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها أنّ المصمم الأردني يعتمد على توظيف الخط العربي ضمن تصميماته، مع وجود مجموعة من العوائق الناتجة عن عدم دعم الأدوات الرقمية للخط العربي بشكل كاف، مما يدفع المصممين لإنشاء الخطوط وتحريرها بوسائل بديلة، وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة العمل على تطوير أدوات استخدام الخط العربي في التصميم الجرافيكي، وذلك عبر تشجيع البحث العلمي وتعزيز التعاون بين المصممين والمهندسين المختصين والمطورين، لتسحين تجربة توظيف الخط العربي في التصميم الجرافيكي.                   Abstract: Arabic calligraphy is one of the unique forms of Arabic art with its distinct artistic and cultural characteristics. This research aims to study the current state of employing Arabic calligraphy in graphic design by Jordanian designers, based on its aesthetic implications and creative use within graphic design. Starting from the hypothesis that the experience of graphic designers in utilizing Arabic calligraphy within modern digital tools faces several challenges, the research objectives include identifying the reasons and obstacles to its use by Jordanian designers. The study community consists of Jordanian graphic designers, with a sample size of 200 designers completing their master's studies at Jadara University. The research tool is a questionnaire, one of the most commonly used data collection methods in survey research, employing Cronbach's alpha coefficient to verify the reliability of the questionnaire items. The research yielded several results, notably that Jordanian designers rely on employing Arabic calligraphy in their designs, despite encountering obstacles due to insufficient support from digital tools for Arabic calligraphy. Consequently, designers resort to creating and editing fonts using alternative methods. The study recommends the necessity of improving tools for using Arabic calligraphy in graphic design by encouraging scientific research and fostering collaboration among designers, specialized engineers, and developers to enhance the experience of employing Arabic calligraphy in graphic design.
