Ten flax genotypes, namely Giza 11, Giza 12, Sakha 6.cvs, Strain 402/3/4 and Strain 533/39/1 (dual purpose type), Strain 813/8, Strain 620/3/1, imported Evona and Marline as well as promising Strain 651/1 (fiber purpose type) were evaluated for straw yield, seed yield and their related characters, and some of their technological traits. Simple correlation coefficients and path analysis between straw yield, seed yield and some of their contributing characters were studied. The experiments were conducted at the experimental farm of Ismailia Agric. Res. Station, ARC, during the two successive winter seasons 2021/2022 and 2022/2023. Results of the combined analysis showed significant differences among the ten studied flax genotypes for all studied characters. Giza 12 variety recorded the highest values of total plant height, main stem diameter, straw yield/plant and straw yield/fed. Meanwhile the promising fiber strain. 651/1 gave the highest values of technical length, fiber yield/plant and fiber yield/fed without significant differences between this strain and Giza 12 variety for technical length and fiber yield/fed as an average of the two seasons. Moreover, Giza 11 variety ranked first for seed characters and achieved the highest estimates for fruiting zone length, number of capsules/plant, number of seeds/capsule, seed index, seed yield/plant as well as per fed and oil yield/fedfor the technological characters. Results showed significant differences among the ten studied flax genotypes for total fiber%, fiber length, fiber fineness and oil% as an average of the two seasons. Whereas, the promising fiber strain 651/1 recorded the highest values of total fiber%, fiber length and fiber fineness characters. However, the highest value of oil percentage was obtained by Giza 11 variety. There was a positive and highly significant association among straw yield/fed and each of total plant height, main stem diameter and straw yield/plant. Also a positive and highly significant correlation was observed between seed yield/fed and each of number of capsules/plant, seed index and seed yield/plant.
