يهدف البحث الحالي لتحقيق هدف رئيسي وهو معرفة  مدى تأثير مبادئ الحوكمة على تحسين أداء المراكز الصحية الأولية في مكة المكرمة، المنهجية والأدوات : ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي ، ويتمثل مجتمع الدراسة الحالية في العاملين في المراكز الصحية الأولية في مكة المكرمة في المملكة العربية السعودية، والبالغ عددهم (1100).وتم جمع العينة العشوائية البسيطة؛ حيث تم ذلك من خلال اختيار عدد من المستجيبين الذين تستطيع الباحثة العثور عليهم من مدة زمنية محددة، حيث بلغ عددهم (284) موظفاً، حيث كانت الاستبانة الصالحة للتحليل عددها (220) استبانةً، وذلك تم الاعتماد بناء على (معادلة ريتشارد جيجر) وتم استخدام برنامج (SPSS) وخلتص الدراسة لعدة نتائج ابرزها : يوجد أثر لتطبيق مبادئ الحوكمة على أداء المراكز الصحية الأولية في مكة المكرمة، التوصيات : توسيع نطاق مشاركة المجتمع المحلي في تقييم الخدمات الصحية من خلال استطلاعات الرأي والاهتمام بملاحظات المرضى، تدريب القادة الإداريين على مفاهيم الحوكمة وتعزيز قدرتهم على تطبيق المبادئ الإدارية بشكل فعال، وضع برامج حوافز ومكافآت للمتميزين في تطبيق الحوكمة، وتوفير فرص تدريب مستمر لتطوير مهارات الموظفين.
 
The current research aims to achieve a main objective, which is to know the extent of the impact of governance principles on improving the performance of primary health centers in Makkah Al-Mukarramah; Methodology and tools: To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method, and the current study community is represented by workers in primary health centers in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, numbering (1100). A simple random sample was collected; This was done by selecting a number of respondents that the researcher could find from a specific period of time, where their number reached (284) employees, where the valid questionnaire for analysis was (220) questionnaires, and this was based on (Richard Geiger's equation) and the (SPSS) program was used and the study concluded several results, the most prominent of which are: There is an effect of applying governance principles on the performance of primary health centers in Makkah Al-Mukarramah,Recommendations: Expanding the scope of local community participation in evaluating health services through opinion polls and paying attention to patients' comments, training administrative leaders on governance concepts and enhancing their ability to apply administrative principles effectively, developing incentive and reward programs for those who excel in applying governance, and providing continuous training opportunities to develop employees' skills.
