هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على دور تطوير مراكز الرعاية الصحية الأولية في تحسين الأداء بالقطاع الصحي بمنطقة نجران في المملكة العربية السعودية، وذلك من خلال دراسة مقارنة بين وجهة نظر العاملين ووجهة نظر المستفيدين حول واقع هذا التطوير ودوره تحسين مستوى الأداء داخل مراكز الرعاية الصحية الأولية بنجران. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة قام الباحث باستخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في إعداد الدراسة. كما استخدم الاستبانة كأداة رئيسية في جمع البيانات من عينة الدراسة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من عينة عمدية قوامها (300) مفردة من العاملين، وعينة قوامها (400) مفردة من المرضى والمراجعين لمراكز الرعاية الصحية الأولية بمنطقة نجران. وعقب جمع البيانات تم استخدام الحزمة الإحصائية للدراسات الاجتماعية (SPSS) في تحليل البيانات. وبينت النتائج أن المستفيدين يقدمون تقييمات أعلى وأكثر إيجابية من العاملين حول واقع تطوير مراكز الرعاية الصحية الأولية بمنطقة نجران، ومستوى كفاءة الأداء في هذه المراكز. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج، أوصت الدراسة بعدة توصيات أهمها: التأكد من تزويد المراكز الصحية بأحدث الأجهزة الطبية وتحديثها بانتظام لضمان تقديم خدمات صحية عالية الجودة.
 
The current study aimed to identify the role of developing primary health care centers in improving performance in the health sector in the Najran region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through a comparative study between the point of view of workers and the point of view of beneficiaries about the reality of this development and its role in improving the level of performance within primary health care centers in Najran. To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method in preparing the study. The questionnaire was also used as a main tool in collecting data from the study sample. The study sample consisted of a deliberate sample of (300) individuals from workers, and a sample of (400) individuals from patients and visitors to primary health care centers in the Najran region. After collecting the data, the Statistical Package for Social Studies (SPSS) was used to analyze the data. Results showed that the beneficiaries provide higher and more positive evaluations than the workers about the reality of developing primary health care centers in the Najran region, and the level of performance efficiency in these centers. In light of these results, the study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which are: Ensuring that health centers are provided with the latest medical equipment and updated regularly to ensure the provision of high-quality health services.
