مصطلح كاتوخيس κατοχῆς ودلالاته في مصر إبان العصرين البطلمي والروماني "دراسة تاريخية" د. السيد يحيي محمد الباشا                                 البريد الاليكتروني: Sayedalbasha@azhar.edu.eg مدرس التاريخ القديم (يوناني وروماني) بقسم التاريخ والحضارة كلية اللغة العربية بالقاهرة- جامعة الأزهر. الملخص: يتناول هذا البحث الحديث عن مصطلح كاتوخيس κατοχῆς ودلالاته في مصر إبان العصرين البطلمي والروماني "دراسة تاريخية"، وقد عُرف هذا المصطلح عند اليونانيين القدماء، ولذا ورد ذكره في المصادر الكلاسيكية، وحَمِلَ دلالات مختلفة، ومعاني متنوعة، حيث جاء عند يوريبيديس Euripides  بمعنى "احتَجَزَ أو اختار"، وعند بلوتارخوس Plutarchus بمعنى "المقيدون، أو المُكبلون بالسلاسل"، وعند سوفوكليس Sophocles بمعنى "محفوظ أو محمي"، أما عند هيرودوتوس Herodotus  فقد جاء بمعنى "الإقامة القسرية". كما ورد مصطلح κατοχῆς في عدد كبير من الوثائق البردية، والأوستراكا، وحمل – أيضًا- دلالات متنوعة، وقد صنفها الباحث إلى دلالات دينية، ودلالات اقتصادية، ودلالات اجتماعية. أما عن الدلالات الدينية فقد استخدم للدلالة على طائفة من الناس كان يُطلق عليهم "كاتوخوي" أي: "المنعزلون أو المحتجزون"، حيث كانوا يكرسون أنفسهم لخدمة الإله في المعبد، ولم يقتصر هذا الاحتجاز على الرجال فقط، بل شمل الرجال والنساء، وربما كانت الإقامة الطوعية للكاتوخوي في حرم المعبد، أو الانعزال عن العالم بمثابة تمهيد للرهبنة المسيحية. أما عن الدلالات الاقتصادية لهذا المصطلح فمنها: (الدلالة على حق الحجز على بعض الأراضي الزراعية والعقارات- رهن الأراضي الزراعية – الالتزام بسداد القروض في موعدها وعدم التأخير- المطالبة بالملكية والحقوق – عدم وجود مستحقات متأخرة أو امتياز أو التزام لأحد على العقارات المرهونة أو المباعة – الضمان أو الكفالة – سند القرض أو صك القرض – الحائز القانوني للعقار). وإضافة إلى ذلك فقد استخدم هذا المصطلح للدلالة على أمور اجتماعية. الكلمات المفتاحية: (كاتوخيس – دلالات دينية - دلالات اقتصادية – دلالات اجتماعية).   The term Katokhis κατοχῆς and its connotations in Egypt During the Ptolemaic and Roman eras "Historical Study" Elsayed Yahya Mohamed Albasha Email: Sayedalbasha@azhar.edu.eg Ancient History Teacher (Greek and Roman) in the Department of History and Civilization Faculty of Arabic Language in Cairo - Al-Azhar University Abstract:    This research deals with the term Katochis (κατοχῆς) and its connotations in Egypt during the Ptolemaic and Roman eras (a historical study). This term was known to the ancient Greeks, and therefore it was mentioned in literary sources, and carried different connotations and diverse meanings, as it came in Euripides meaning "detained or chose", and in Plutarchus meaning "bound or chained", and in Sophocles meaning "preserved or protected", and in Herodotus it came to mean "forced residence". The term κατοχῆς was also mentioned in a large number of papyrus documents and ostraca, and it also carried diverse connotations, which the researcher classified into religious connotations, economic connotations, and social connotations. As for religious connotations, it was used to refer to a group of people called "Katokhoi", meaning "the isolated or the detained", as they devoted themselves to serving God in the temple. This detention was not limited to men only, but included men and women, and perhaps the voluntary residence of the Katokhoi in the temple grounds, or isolation from the world, was a prelude to Christian monasticism. As for the economic connotations of this term, they include: (indicating the right to seize some agricultural lands and real estate - mortgaging agricultural lands - the obligation to repay loans on time and not to delay - claiming ownership and rights - the absence of late dues or privilege or obligation to anyone on mortgaged or sold real estate - guarantee or surety - loan bond or loan instrument - the legal holder of the property).
