ملخص البحث الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله، وبعد فقد أخذ النووي على نفسه في مقدمة كتابه المنهاج أن يعبر بالأظهر عن أرجح القولين للإمام الشافعي، وبالمشهور عن الصحيح من القولين له، وبالأصح عن أرجح الوجهين عن أصحاب الإمام، وبالصحيح عن الصحيح من الوجهين لهم، وعبر ب: في قول وقيل: عن الضعيف، جعل الأول للإمام والثاني للأصحاب، وعبر  بالجديد عن الذي قاله الشافعي بمصر مقابلا للقديم الذي قاله قبل دخوله مصر، لكنه خالف شرطه هذا في بعض المواطن، فأحببت أن أجمع هذه المسائل التي خالف فيها شرطه مبينا الصواب، من كلام الأئمة الأصحاب، وسميته: "الإتحاف بالمسائل التي خالف النووي فيها شرطَه في حكاية الخلاف"، سائلا الله أن ينفعني به وطلبة العلم بفضله وكرمه آمين. Al-Nawawi took it upon himself in the introduction to his book Al-Manhaj to express the most likely of the two opinions of Imam al-Shafi'i, the most famous of the two opinions of Imam al-Shafi'i, the most correct of the two faces of the companions of Imam al-Shafi'i, and the correct of the two faces of them: He made the first for the Imam and the second for the companions, and he expressed by the new for what al-Shafi'i said in Egypt as opposed to the old, which he said before he entered Egypt, but he violated his condition in some places, so I liked to collect these issues in which he violated his condition, showing the correctness, from the words of the Imams and companions, and called it: "Al-Ihtihaf al-Masalah al-Nawawi violated his condition in narrating the disagreement", asking Allah to benefit me and the students of knowledge through His grace and generosity, ameen.
