هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد واقع الأداء المهني للأخصائيين الاجتماعيين العاملين بالمجال الطبي من منظور الممارسة العامة في الخدمة الاجتماعية، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (30) مفردة، وأسفرت نتائج الدراسة أن المتوسط العام لبعد الجوانب المعرفية المرتبطة بتطوير الأداء المهني للأخصائيين الاجتماعيين العاملين بالمجال الطبي جاء متوسطًا وذلك بمتوسط حسابي (3.21)، وأن المتوسط العام لبعد الجوانب المهارية المرتبطة بتطوير الأداء المهني للأخصائيين الاجتماعيين العاملين بالمجال الطبي جاء مرتفعًا وذلك بمتوسط حسابي (3.47)، وأن المتوسط العام لبعد الجوانب الوجدانية المرتبطة بتطوير الأداء المهني للأخصائيين الاجتماعيين العاملين بالمجال الطبي جاء مرتفعًا وذلك بمتوسط حسابي (3.80)، واختتمت الدراسة بوضع برنامج مقترح لتنمية الأداء المهني للأخصائيين الاجتماعيين بالمجال الطبي.

Abstract:
The study aimed to determine the reality of the professional performance of social workers working in the medical field from the perspective of general practice in social service. The study used the descriptive approach, and the study sample consisted of (30) individuals. The results of the study showed that the general average of the cognitive aspects dimension associated with developing the professional performance of social workers working in the medical field was average with an arithmetic average of (3.21), and that the general average of the skill aspects dimension associated with developing the professional performance of social workers working in the medical field was high with an arithmetic average of (3.47), and that the general average of the emotional aspects dimension associated with developing the professional performance of social workers working in the medical field was high with an arithmetic average of (3.80). The study concluded by developing a proposed program to develop the professional performance of social workers in the medical field.
