ملخص البحث:           تعتبر المنظمات الأهلية التطوعية إحدى التنظيمات الإجتماعية الأهلية التي يصب فيها مجموع الجهود الحكومية والأهلية معا من أجل النهوض بالمجتمع المحلي وهي تعتمد بشكل أساسي على قيادتها في تحقيق أهدافها وأدائها لدورها المنوط بها,حيث أنها تختلف عن مثيلاتها الحكومية بقدرتها على إشباع الإحتياجات ومواجهة المشكلات وكذلك سهولة الحصول على خدماتها فضلاعن ما تتمتع به من ثقة أفراد المجتمع في خدماتها وبرامجها.       ولقد أصبح الاستثمار في البشر من أهم المداخل الرئيسية لضمان تحقيق التنمية المنشودة فهو أساس كل تقم يمكن أن يتحقق في أي مجتمع من المجتمعات البشرية، وهو محور تقدمه وتطوره، ليس فقط على اعتبار أن هؤلاء البشر هم غاية التنمية ووسيلتها. تأتي أهمية الحوار المجتمعي حيث يعد أساس قوى لتحقيق توظيف الموارد البشرية من خلال دفع المشاركة الفعالة بين الأفراد والوحدات الاجتماعية الأخرى حيث يتيح تناسق وتناغم حركة الأجزاء وبما يمكن الكل من تحقيق أهدافه ودوره الوظيفي من خلال ترشيد القرارات التى تعكس تكامل وتوزان رؤى الأفراد والوحدات المختلفة، وكذلك يساعد في تكامل العمليات والأنشطة المرتبطة بهذه القرارات من هنا تتمثل القضية المحورية للدراسة في" عوامل ضعف استخدام الحوار المجتمعى فى تحقيق المشاركة التطوعية  للشباب الجامعي بالمجتمعات المحلية الحضرية. وإستهدفت الدراسة الراهنة: التعرف على العوامل التي تؤدي إلى ضعف الحوار المجتمعى في تحقيق المشاركة التطوعية للشباب الجامعي فى تنمية المجتمعات المحلية الحضرية.وتوصلت الدراسة الراهنة الى مجموعة من النتائج المرتبطة بالعوامل التي تؤدي إلى ضعف استخدام الحوار المجتمعى في تحقيق المشاركة التطوعية للشباب الجامعي فى تنمية المجتمعات المحلية الحضرية. الكلمات المفتاحية: الحوار المجتمعى – الشباب الجامعى – المشاركة التطوعية.
