يهدف البحث للكشف عن دور الأمن المعلوماتي في التنمية في الكويت، والتعرف على أهمية الاستثمار في تكنولوجيا أمان المعلومات ، ومن أجل تحقيق هذه الأهداف اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي, وقد تم تطبيق الاستبيان على عينة قوامها(145) مبحوث من مسئولي أمن المعلومات والمتخصصين في التنمية والاقتصاد الكويتي في مدينة الكويت، وأكدت نتائج الدراسة الميدانية الاتفاق على أمن المعلومات دوراً مهماً في عملية التنمية الاقتصادية في الكويت، كما اتضح من النتائج أن الاستثمار في تكنولوجيا أمان المعلومات يعتبر استثمارًا مهمًا لتعزيز التنمية في الكويت، وأكدت النتائج على وجود تعاون بين القطاعات المختلفة لتعزيز أمن المعلومات، كما اتضح من النتائج أن الكويت تستثمر بما فيه الكفاية في أمن المعلومات.
The research aims to reveal the role of information security in development in Kuwait, and to identify the importance of investing in information security technology. In order to achieve these goals, the study relied on the descriptive approach. The questionnaire was applied to a sample of (145) respondents from information security officials and specialists in development and the Kuwaiti economy in Kuwait City. The results of the field study confirmed the agreement on information security as an important role in the economic development process in Kuwait. The results also showed that investing in information security technology is an important investment to enhance development in Kuwait. The results confirmed the existence of cooperation between the various sectors to enhance information security. The results also showed that Kuwait invests sufficiently in information security.
