يقوم المنهج التطبيقى العملى للتصوف على جملة من الأسس والركائزالتى تحقق مصداقيته وتثمرنتائجه فى التوجه الصادق إلى الله تعالى بما يرضاه ، ومن أهم تلك الأسس والركائز ، إن لم يكن أهمها على الإطلاق ، اتخاذ الشيخ المرشد المستجمع لمقومات التربية والإرشاد ، ليكون قدوة وإماما يقتدى به المريد فى سفره إلى الله عزوجل ، وإذا كان حقيقة السلوك الصوفى – هى سفرالقلوب إلى حضرة علام الغيوب ، ومن مراحل ذلك السفر ، السفرمن عالم الملك إلى شهود عالم الملكوت ، ثم إلى شهود عالم الجبروت ، أو السفر من عالم الشهادة إلى عالم الغيب ، أو من عالم الحس إلى عالم المعنى ، أو من عالم الأشباح إلى شهود عالم الأرواح ، أو من شهود الكون إلى شهود المكون .

The practical application method of Sufism is based on a set of foundations and pillars that achieve its credibility and produce its results in the sincere orientation towards God Almighty in a way that pleases Him. Among the most important of these foundations and pillars, if not the most important of them all, is adopting a guiding sheikh who has gathered the elements of education and guidance, to be a role model and imam for the disciple to follow in his journey to God Almighty.
