صار العالم في الآونة الأخيرة منشغلًا أيما انشغال بقضية التنمية المستدامة، والنظر مستقبلًا لتحقيقها، ولكن طرأ مؤخرًا ما أثار في نفوس الجميع القلق حيال استكمال خطط هذه التنمية المستدامة؛ فقد ظهرت مشكلة تغير المناخ، وما لها من تأثير ناجع في مناحي الحياة كافة؛ سواء اقتصاديًّا، أو اجتماعيًّا، أو سياسيًّا... إلخ.
فالتغييرات المناخية كما ورد تعريفها في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة حيث يشير إلى أنه تغير يُعزى بشكل مباشر أو غير مباشر إلى النشاط البشري، حيث يؤدي إلى تغيير في تكوين الغلاف الجوي للأرض؛ وبالتالي يساهم في تغير المناخ الذي يشكل تهديدًا بيئيًّا عالميًّا، وعرجت على أسباب هذا التغيير، والمتمثل في النشاط البشري الذي أدى إلى حدوث ما يعرف بظاهرة الاحتباس الحراري، وقد نتجت عن هذه التغييرات آثار جذرية على كوكب الأرض، كنقص إمداد المياه، ونقص الإنتاج الزراعي، والإضرار بصحة الإنسان نتيجة هذا النقص، وغيرها من الآثار السلبية الناتجة.
كما ان تأثيرها على التنمية المستدامة والتي تسعى إليها الدول كلها في تحقيقها، وأن فرص العمل تأثرت سلبًا بما يجري في المناخ من تغييرات، فهناك تحديات اقتصادية واجتماعية للتغير المناخي والتنمية المستدامة؛ حيث إن التحدي المواجه هنا هو نمو عدد سكان العالم إلى أكثر من 7 مليارات نسمة منذ عام 1972، وتضاعف مع هذا النمو حجم الاقتصاد العالمي ثلاثة أضعاف، وصاحب هذا النمو ثبات في الموارد الطبيعية؛ وبالتالي انعقدت المؤتمرات لتنويه العالم إلى الإرشاد في استعمال هذه الثروة الطبيعية، ونوهت أيضًا إلى أن فئة الفقراء هي الأكثر تضررًا من هذا الإرشاد، نظرًا لعدم التساوي في توزيع الموارد.
فيؤثر التغيرات المناخية على سوق العمل؛ حيث يشهد العالم تغيرات مناخية جديدة لم يعهدها من قبل؛ لذا- ومن أجل الحفاظ على سوق العمل - يجب تغيير التدريب المهني للعمال والمهنيين، وتأهيلهم لمواجهة أي تحديات مناخية طارئة.
The world has recently become very preoccupied with the issue of sustainable development, and looking to the future to achieve it, but something has recently arisen that has raised concerns in everyone about completing the plans for this sustainable development; the problem of climate change has emerged, and its effective impact on all aspects of life; whether economically, socially, politically, etc.
Climate changes, as defined in the United Nations Convention, indicate that it is a change that is attributed directly or indirectly to human activity, as it leads to a change in the composition of the Earth's atmosphere; thus contributing to climate change, which poses a global environmental threat. I touched on the causes of this change, represented by human activity that led to what is known as the phenomenon of global warming, and these changes have resulted in radical effects on the planet, such as a shortage of water supply, a shortage of agricultural production, and harm to human health as a result of this shortage, and other negative effects resulting.
Its impact on sustainable development, which all countries seek to achieve, and that job opportunities have been negatively affected by the changes taking place in the climate, there are economic and social challenges to climate change and sustainable development; as the challenge facing here is the growth of the world's population to more than 7 billion people since 1972, and with this growth the size of the global economy has tripled, and this growth was accompanied by stability in natural resources; therefore, conferences were held to alert the world to guidance in the use of this natural wealth, and also noted that the poor are the most affected by this guidance, due to the inequality in the distribution of resources.
Climate changes affect the labor market; as the world is witnessing new climate changes that it has not known before; therefore - in order to preserve the labor market - the vocational training of workers and professionals must be changed, and they must be qualified to face any urgent climate challenges.
