هدفت الدراسة إلى توضيح أثر دعم الطاقة على النمو الاقتصادى فى مصر فى الفترة من (1990-2023)، وقد استخدمت الدراسة نموذج الانحدار الذاتى لفترات الابطاء الموزعة (ARDEL) لقياس العلاقة بين المتغيرات فى الأجل القصير والطويل، حيث تم استخدام معدل النمو فى الناتج المحلى الاجمالى الحقيقى كمتغير تابع، فى حين استخدمت الدراسة (معدل نمو دعم المواد البترولية، معدل نمو الإنفاق الاستهلاكي للحكومة، معدل النمو السنوي للصادرات، معدل النمو السنوي للواردات، إجمالي التكوين الرأسمالي كنسبة من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي، معدل التضخم السنوى، معدل نمو صافي الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر كنسبة من الناتج المحلي الإجمالى) كمتغيرات مفسرة، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن هناك علاقة طردية غير معنوية مع الصادرات وصافى الاستثمار الأجنبى وعلاقة طردية معنوية لكل من الانفاق الحكومى والتكوين الرأسمالى وعلاقة عكسية مع التضخم والواردات.
      The study aimed to clarify the impact of the energy subsidies on economic growth in Egypt in the period from (1990 to 2023). The study used the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDEL) model to measure the relationship between variables in the short and long term, where the growth rate in real gross domestic product was used as a dependent variable, while the study used (Growth rate of petroleum subsidies, growth rate of government consumer spending, annual growth rate of exports, annual growth rate of imports, gross capital formation as a percentage of GDP, annual inflation rate, growth rate of net foreign direct investment as a percentage of GDP)      as explanatory variables. The study found that there is a positive, non-significant relationship with exports and net foreign investment, and a positive, significant relationship and Both government spending and capital formation have an inverse relationship with inflation and imports.
