هدفت الدارسة إلي التعرف علي معوقات وانعكاسات النشاط الاستثماري في الشركات النفطية بسلطنة عمان من خلال الفرضية العامة توجد علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية لمعوقات وانعكاسات النشاط الاستثماري في قطاع النفط بسلطنة عمان، وأثبتت النتائج صحة هذه الفرضية، وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة إجراء العناية الشاملة قبل الاستثمار في شركة النفط في سلطنة عمان لتقييم الأداء المالي للشركة والامتثال التنظيمي وملف المخاطر ، وكذلك إعادة  النظر في الاستثمار طويل الأجل حيث تعتبر صناعة النفط في سلطنة عمان استثماراً طويل الأجل، لذلك يجب على المستثمرين التفكير في أفق استثمار طويل الأجل ولديهم استراتيجية خروج واضحة ، فضلا عن الحفاظ على مرونة الاستثمارات حيث تخضع صناعة النفط لأحداث غير متوقعة، مثل الكوارث الطبيعية أو الأوبئة.
The study aimed to identify the obstacles and repercussions of investment activity in oil companies in the Sultanate of Oman through the general hypothesis there is a statistically significant relationship to the obstacles and repercussions of investment activity in the oil sector in the Sultanate of Oman, and the results proved the validity of this hypothesis, and the study recommended the need to conduct comprehensive care before investing in the oil company in the Sultanate of Oman to assess the company's financial performance, regulatory compliance and risk profile, as well as to reconsider long-term investment, as the oil industry in the Sultanate of Oman is a long-term investment, so investors should think about a long-term investment horizon and have a clear exit strategy, as well as maintaining The flexibility of investments where the oil industry is subject to unforeseen events, such as natural disasters or epidemics
