تناول هذا البحث بيان دور آليات الرقابة الدولية في معرفة مدى التزام الدول بالقيام بتعهداتها في الاتفاقيات الدولية الموقعة عليها سواء علي المستوى الدولي والمستوى الإقليمي الدولي فيما يخص حقوق ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة وكذا أهمية هذه الآليات في حث الدول على احترام حقوق ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة المنصوص عليها سواء في الاتفاقيات الدولية للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة والاتفاقيات الإقليمية الأخرى الخاصة بحقوق ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، وتقوم هذه الآليات بأهمية كبيرة في الوقوف على أي مدى وصل احترام الدول للحقوق المنصوص عليها في الاتفاقيات الدولية الخاصة بذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة وعلى وجه الخصوص اتفاقية الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة التي اعتمدتها الأمم المتحدة سنة 2006 ووقع عليها الكثير من الدول ومن بينهم مصر. وتم بيان الوسائل التي تتم بها هذه الآليات عن طريق عمل التقارير أو تلقي التقارير من الدول الأطراف في الاتفاقيات الدولية لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة بالإضافة إلى بيان دور هذه الآليات في معرفة مدى التزام الدول باحترام هذه الحقوق المنصوص عليها في الاتفاقيات الدولية سواء على المستوى الدولي أو الإقليمي. This research dealt with the statement of the role of international control mechanisms in knowing the extent of the commitment of countries to carry out their commitments in the international conventions signed by them, both at the international level and at the regional and international level with regard to the rights of people with special needs, as well as the importance of these mechanisms in urging countries to respect the rights of people with special needs stipulated both in international conventions for persons with disabilities and other regional conventions on the rights of people with special needs, and these mechanisms are of great importance in standing to what extent States respect the rights enshrined in international conventions on persons with special needs, in particular the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which was adopted by the United Nations in 2006 and signed by many countries, including Egypt. The means by which these mechanisms are carried out were explained through the preparation of reports or receiving reports from States parties to international conventions for persons with disability In addition to explaining the role of these mechanisms in determining the extent of the commitment of States to respect these rights stipulated in international conventions, whether at the international or regional level.
