Abstract: This research examines alienation in the Message of Al-Sahil and Al-Shahij by Abu Al-Ala Al-Ma'arri, focusing on how the poet employs literary symbols to express various forms of alienation, including social, psychological, and cultural alienation. The study analyzes the literary texts to understand the political and social dimensions revealed by the symbols used and how these dimensions manifest within their historical context.
