يُجِدُّ البحثُ لإثباتِ ماهيَّةِ السياقِ، وإدراكِ حدِّه الذي يستجيب لتعريفه مهما تعدَّدت أنواعُه، ومهامُّه، ومؤَدَّاه، ويكونُ الحدُّ للسياقِ كحدِّ الإنسانِ بكونِه (حيوانًا ناطقًا)، إذ يتَّفِقُ له كلُّ إنسانٍ، ولا يُخالفُه فردٌ من أفرادِه، بل يندرجُ تحته، ويفتقرُ في العبارة عنه إليه، ومن ثمَّ فالحاجةُ إلى حدِّ السياقِ كالحاجة إلى حدِّ كلِّ ذاتٍ، لتستقلَّ بذاتها كُنهًا وماهيَّةً، ثمَّ يُشارُ إلى أفرادِه مهما تشعَّبن وبان فردٌ عن صاحبه، ومهما اختلفنَ إشارةً واحدة، كما لو اجتمع ألف إنسانٍ مختلفِ الحالِ والصفة، وكان الخلاف مُعتَدًّا في الإشارة إليهم، فتبقى الأحوالُ والصفات مانعةً عن الإشارة الواحدة، خاصَّةً إذا اجتمع الحال وضدّها، والصفةُ وضدُّها، كسعيدٍ وحزينٍ، ورجلٍ وامرأةٍ، و أبيض وأسود، والجميعُ حاضرٌ في مجتمعهم، فيبقى لزامًا السكوت عن الأحوالِ والصفات، ويأرزا إلى أفرادِهما، ليتولَّى (إنسانٌ) مهمَّته، فيتولَّى التعريفَ صاحبُه، ويشارُ إلى الألفِ بكلمةٍ واحدة.
ومن ثمَّ فإنَّ البحث جدَّ إلى تعريف السياق بكنهه وماهيَّته، وبكلمةٍ إذا أُطلِقَت دلَّت على مجموعِه، مهمَّا تشعَّب، ومهما تعددت صفاتُه وأحوالُه، حتى ليبقى تعريفه بها مُفتقرًا إلى إطالةٍ لا نهايةَ لها، ولو لزمَ البحثُ أصلَه لأغناه في تعريفه كلمةٌ واحدة.
وهذا عرضٌ موجزٌ للحدودِ التي حدَّ بها البلاغيُّون والأصوليُّون السياقَ، وجميعها أصابَ حالًا أو صفةً استقرَّت له، غيرَ أنَّهنَّ لا يصلُحنَ حدَّا إذا أُريدَ بالواحدِ منهنَّ شمولَ جنسه، وتعريفَ كُنهه.
وقد جدَّ البحث من أجلِ أن يصلَ إلى حدِّه.
وحدُّ السياق: (كلُّ ثابتٍ يُحتَكَمُ إليه لإثبات صحةِ قضية).
Abstract     : What is the context?     Research is intensifying to prove the nature of the context, and to understand its limit that responds to its definition, no matter how many its types, tasks, and implications are. The limit of the context is like the limit of a human being as a (speaking animal), as every human being agrees with it, and no individual of its individuals differs from it, but rather falls under it, and lacks it in expressing it. Hence, the need for the limit of the context is like the need for the limit of every self, to be independent in its essence and nature, then its individuals are referred to, no matter how branched they are and how distinct an individual is from its companion, and no matter how different they are, with a single indication, As if a thousand people of different conditions and characteristics were gathered, and the difference was significant in referring to them, then the conditions and characteristics remain preventing a single reference, especially if the condition and its opposite, and the characteristic and its opposite, such as happy and sad, man and woman, white and black, and all are present in their society, then it remains necessary to remain silent about the conditions and characteristics, and refer to their individuals, so that (a person) takes on his task, and its owner takes on the definition, and the thousand are referred to with one word. Hence, the research is serious about defining the context with its essence and nature, and with a word that, if it is released, indicates its entirety, no matter how branched it is, and no matter how many its characteristics and conditions are, so that its definition with it remains in need of endless extension, and if the research adhered to its origin, a single word would suffice in defining it. This is a brief presentation of the limits that rhetoricians and legal theorists have set for context, all of which have affected a state or a characteristic that has been established for it, but they are not suitable as a limit if one of them is intended to include its type and define its essence.
