مستخلص البحث: يهدف البحث الموسوم ب"دور النساخ في حفظ المخطوطات العمانية ووصولها إلى  المكتبات" إلى بيان دور النساخ العمانيين في حفظ المخطوطات العمانية وانتقالها عبر المكتبات، وسأستخدم فيه المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتحدثت فيه عن مفهوم المخطوط لغة واصطلاحا، ومفهوم النسخ كذلك، وأهمية النسخ، وأسبابه، وأهميته، والنساخ العمانيين، أصنافهم، وأشهرهم، وطرق وصول المخطوطات إلى المكتبات العربية والعمانية ودور النساخ في ذلك وتوصل البحث للعديد من النتائج أهمها: كان للنساخ بصفة عامة، والنساخ العمانيين بصفة خاصة دور حضاري بارز في تاريخ الأمم والحضارات، فقد قاموا بدور علمي بارز يعد بمثابة تضحية ترتب عليها خروج الكتب العلمية المختلفة إلى النور. هناك العديد من الدوافع التي كانت وراء نسخ المخطوطات، فقد كانت لكثرة العلماء، وطلبة العلم في بلاد الإسلام الأثر من أهم الدوافع التي كمنت خلف نسخ المخطوطات وانتشارها، وقد أَثْرتْ بذلك حركة نسخ المخطوطات، كما زاد بسبب ذلك حركة تجارة الأوراق، والأحبار وغيرها مما هو لازم لنسخ المخطوطات. يعد من أبرز النساخ العمانيين عبدالله بن بشير الحضرمي العماني الصحاري. تنوعت أصناف النساخ باعتبار مقاصدهم إلى أنواع عدة، فمنهم العلماء المؤلفون، ومنهم طلبة العلم، ومنهم المرتزقة. كان للنساخ دور بارز في حفظ المخطوطات من الانقراض، ووصولها إلى المكتبات العربية والعالمية، وتمتعنا بهذه المخطوطات وبما فها من علوم وفنون، كما كان لهم دور في حفظ المخطوطات النادرة، وكذلك الوصول إلى النص الصحيح للكتاب. تمتع النساخ العمانيون بالصفات الحميدة، والخلال العظيمة، كما كان لهم دراية وعناية بمصطلحات الكتابة القديمة والحديثة، كما تمتعوا بخلق الأمانة، والبعد عن التحريف والتزوير، والانتحال، كما اهتموا بضبط النصوص، والعناية باللغة وقواعد الإملاء.                 Abstract:   The research tagged with “The Role of Copyists in Preserving Omani Manuscripts and Their Access to Libraries" aims to clarify the role of Omani copyists in preserving Omani manuscripts and their transmission through libraries.
